Green Smoothie

The Green Smoothie Crazzzz....It feels like everyone has a recipe for a green smoothie these days. Trust me, you won't find my recipe anywhere else. I'm a blender over juicer kind of gal. I prefer blending because I want to get the nutrition from the whole fruit or veggie i use. Fiber is a key nutrient that helps keep you regular. 



Green Smoothie:

1 cup frozen/fresh spinach

1 small apple

4 large frozen strawberries

1/2 frozen banana

1 tbls Spirulina 

1 tbls Chia Seeds

1 tbls Ground Flax

1/2 cup coconut milk or almond milk

2-4 ice cubes (more ice cubes makes it more watered down)

Blend it all together in a Vitamin and you got yourself a nutrient dense drink! Enjoy
