Interview with Dr. Tyler: The Importance of Chiropractic Care

Dr. Tyler of CorePosture Chiropractic

Dr. Tyler is a board-certified, licensed chiropractor & founder of CorePosture Chiropractic in Newport Beach, CA. He has made a major impact in my own well being & has completely transformed my posture as well. He took X-rays of my back prior to treatment, so no guessing game involved. Then he designed a specialized treatment based on my current posture & body position. He’s very knowledgeable about the health benefits of full body alignment which is very important to me. I’ve been going to his office regularly for chiropractic care & have noticed a big difference in my posture as well as back, neck & chest pain. Today, I feel so much better & I owe it to Dr. Tyler.

Chiropractic care is undeniably important, it is not just about your posture but your overall health. He can help you overcome a variety of issues, including: anxiety, dizziness, chronic pain, headaches, migraines, asthma, & so much more! As they say at CorePosture, “we don’t want you to just survive, but THRIVE!”

Go to CorePosture to enhance your overall well- being, you won’t regret it!

What made you want to be a chiropractor?

I’ve always been fascinated by the human body & it’s ability to adapt.  After growing up with the intention to be a medical doctor, my paradigm shifted when I was introduced to chiropractic.  I watched people heal from not only back & neck pain, but other conditions like chronic headaches & asthma, without the use of drugs or medications.  I was immediately drawn to the profession and haven’t looked back since.

Why is it important to see a chiropractor?

A healthy spine is the foundation to living a healthy life.  It protects our nervous system, which controls & coordinates every aspect of our lives.  Many people go to have their teeth checked & cleaned by their dentist, even when they are not in pain.  Why would we not do the same with our spine?

Who should come see you?

Every single person should have their spine checked.  We see babies, athletes, grandparents, weekend warriors, etc… but my favorite people to work with are the complex cases, the individuals that have literally tried “everything.”  Giving someone hope & being able to deliver a transformational experience is the best part of being a chiropractor.

For optimal results, how many sessions does someone usually need to make?

This really depends on a variety of factors including age of the spine & complexity of the postural distortions present.  We take specific X-rays to better understand what type of treatment plan is necessary.Like any new exercise routine or nutrition program, chiropractic should be considered a lifestyle.
Is there anything we can do daily to help with posture?

Get up & MOVE! Sitting is deemed as the new smoking.  Prolonged sitting puts abnormal stresses & tension on your spine, & ultimately your nervous system.  If possible, get yourself a standing desk, or take breaks at least once per hour for a short walk and get some quick stretching in.  Your spine will be happy.
