9 Sustainable Brands for Conscious Consumers
Sustainability is an integral part of wellness.
As someone who believes in and practices holistic wellness as much as possible, much of what my body and mind need (and my family’s as well) comes from the Earth, and as such, I know we need to treat our planet right. It’s no secret that we are in dire need of a climate revolution, and while it’s easy to feel climate doom and ask yourself “What can you do,” one of the easiest ways you personally can make an impact is by supporting environmentally friendly and sustainable brands.
Since I’ve started being more conscious of my personal consumption of goods, I’ve researched the companies that truly are eco-friendly, green, and doing right by Mother Earth, so I’m going to make this easy for you! These are a few of my essentials and favorites when it comes to sustainable consumption. Reminder: not a single one of these brands has paid me or even knows I’m a fan. These are my honest and truthful faves!
Buoy Bottle: This up-and-coming water bottle brand is truly making a difference when it comes to removing ocean-bound plastic from our waters by using them to create reusable products in a circular economy and supporting 100% local and sustainable business.
Nothing New: One of my favorite sustainable fashion companies, focused on eco-friendly sneakers made with premium materials. Their pink is on point!
Attitude Living: EWG-verified and non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen mineral sunscreen is good for you, good for your kids, and good for the planet.
Bee’s Wrap: I actually bought this product at a flea market in Australia and now I’m obsessed! Toss the cellophane and foil; it’s time to go sustainable and healthy when covering and packaging your foods. These are better for your health and the health of the planet as well.
Stasher: A kid’s snack essential. I cannot tell you how many plastic snack bags we go through and my kids aren’t even in school yet. These are a must for office lunches, kids’ snacks, or even airplane buddy kids. An amazing eco-friendly and sustainable option for meal storage.
Tampon Tribe: This brand took a huge part of the female life and finally make it sustainable and healthy for our bodies. Thank you Tampon Tribe! Their burlap satchels are perfect for the purse and the 100% certified organic cotton tampons with no fillers help alleviate the cramps I was getting from the other not-so-clean brands.
Cadence: Not sure if you also have been bombarded with this ad on your Instagram but I’ve been sucked in. I just got these octagon containers for everyday storage and travel use and I’m loving them. They’re customizable and leakproof, plus they’re made from recycled ocean-bound plastic. Woot Woot!
Parachute: For the ultimate softness and royal bedding experience. Every bed in my house has these sheets, even Brooklyn’s baby crib and Hudson’s bed. Why? Because they are the softest sheets I have ever purchased and I am a sheet snob. The best part is they are not chemically softened, keeping human health in mind!
Care Of Vitamins: My daily personalized pack of vitamins; customized and delivered monthly in sustainable packaging. Did I mention the compostable vitamin packet bag? Um, YES!
